Nobody Talks

Why is the human value of freedom of speech so important?  We need to be able to express our opinions about anything because if that right were taken from us,  the release valve would get blocked and the pressure would build until------------------------------------ +

Free speech demands that all viewpoints be represented. It comes with an unspoken agreement that appears to have been forgotten in today's mass exodus toward identity politics.

The exodus from the tacit agreement established in the past that no one has the answers to life. That together, by respecting each other's viewpoints, we can help one another understand anything. Nobody has a monopoly on truth.

No one owns the rights to goodness. Does that mean we must spin our wheels and slip our chain or exercise our authority to going nowhere?  Perhaps nowhere remains the optimal destination after all.  Human beings are more valuable than freedom of speech.

In all our ragged  and confounding glory, with faith stepping into the mix, but faith in what? In God and the idea that all human beings are good-natured? When the exception has proven to become the rule, dropouts will be shown to have never needed school. Besides, don't you see how viewing it the other way around amounts to the exact same thing? Take a look in the mirror. The exceptions are ruled by their faults.

No longer do I care about these things.  I am going to be tired very soon.  History doesn't repeat itself.  Human beings repeat each other.  It's not because they don't stop and listen to one another. They just won't put each other's shoes on.  They don't even want to see out through the other's eyes. The man who swallows his own lies cannot swallow the lies of another.  At least not at the same time. That's when multiple lives step in.

As they always have and always will. You want the answer. Look to nobody.
If you're lucky, he'll offer you the privilege of paying him for his service.
We signed the termination contract in the beginning and then just forgot.
It makes sense when you don't think about it.
